Tuesday's Treasures: New Bracelets!

Summer Seduction Bracelet 5-Pack
As promised, I've got some beautiful new bracelets to show you today. Sorry for the late post...I seem to have lost track of time!
The first photo shows a beautiful multi-pack of bracelets, the first time I've bundled bracelets together like this, to give you a great value and lots of wardrobe choices.
I made 5 different bracelets on the same theme - summery, shiny, feminine - and made them so that they co-ordinate well together, but can also be worn apart if you just want a little glam. See my Etsy store here for details: http://www.etsy.com/listing/93557147/summer-seduction-5-pack-multicolored
Cleopatra's Blue Goddess Bracelet
This second bracelet I made to match my Cleopatra's Blue Goddess Necklace (found here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/91033798/cleopatras-blue-goddess-necklace). I made this bracelet with the same black beads as in the necklace, but I wound them on memory wire so that it will fit a variety of wrists. For more info, see the listing here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/93540180/cleopatras-blue-goddess-bracelet?ref=v1_other_2
These are some really great bracelets, made more awesome by the fact that, as they are on memory wire, they adjust to fit almost any wrist size...which makes them perfect for gift giving!
See you tomorrow,

Melodious Monday: Meghann's Belgian Waffle Recipe

I know I don't use this blog for recipes, but it is the summer, Brennan is on vacation (which, as I tell everyone, makes me guilty of vacation by association), and sometimes I need to be bad. Not really, really bad, but a little bad. Gluten free is getting more and more popular, and these waffles fit the bill, not to mention the fact that they are absolutely, incredibly delicious, and pretty healthy as waffles go. Top with maple syrup and fruit, or agave nectar and ice cream. You'll love them!

Meghann’s Belgian Waffles

Dry Ingredients

1 Cup Brown Rice Flour

1/2 Cup Garfava Flour

½ Cup Arrowroot Starch

½ tsp salt

5 tsp Baking Powder

1 tbsp Sugar

Wet Ingredients

3 tbsp Ground Flax seed

9 tbsp Hot Water

¼ Cup Good Olive Oil

1 ½ Cups Rice Drink

2 ½ tsp Vanilla Extract

Preheat Waffle maker

Mix flax seed and water, whisk and let sit until thick, about 3 minutes. In a large bowl, whisk together oil, rice drink and vanilla, and then add the flax seed/water mixture. Evenly sprinkle dry ingredients and whisk until blended.

Cook on waffle iron, according to its instructions, and top with fresh fruit.

Enjoy!

Soulful Sunday - Feels Like Spring!

~One of the Streams Crossing Our Road~
~Another, Wider Stream I Call It a River, (But I'm Pretty Sure It's Not)~~
~The View From the Top of the Hill On Our Road - I LOVE This Land!~

Hallelujah, Spring is almost here! It was a 'balmy' 10 degrees Celsius today (that is 50F for my Imperial friends) and Brennan took me on a quick 4-wheeler ride up our road to see the thawing taking place. The Canada geese had arrived back home after their stay down south for the winter and I really wanted to make sure that there was a place for them! Needless to say, the streams and river near us are thawing (or starting to) and the vantage point from the top of the road shows that most of the snow is gone from the fields! And although I am a little concerned about one point of the road possibly washing away - the culverts are much more noticeable by a few feet on each side - the fact that the snow and ice are melting are great signs of spring and summer coming soon - Woo hoo!
