GOOD NEWS! We finally got the pump fixed! We spent a few hours running all over town (OK, it is a small town!) and finally got the right adapter bit, and when we got home, the installation was actually perfect. The new pump is almost silent (yay for not having to wake up in the middle of the night to the pump going off!), and drains faster. Thank you all for your comments and well-wishes :)On another wonderfully positive note, Annette from DragonHouseOfYuen has put me in her treasury! Please do check it out and give her work the credit it deserves - also check out her shop...her creations are simply divine (I am still trying to decide which baby hare to treat myself to the second I have the cash).
