Tuesday's Treasures: It's a Contest!!

I promised a contest and you're going to get a contest, but beware: you'll have to work to get this fabulous prize! What is it, you ask? Well, it will be a ring! Any one of the gorgeous rings in my Etsy shop will be yours for the taking! These (above) are just a few examples of the rings I have available.

Now, what will be your job, you're asking? Tell me how I can serve you better! What can I do to make your shopping experience better? Would you like to see more gold? Lower prices? More or Less items in any of my 3 shops? More dog blog posts? More jewelry blog posts? Let me know!

I will draw one winner at the end of this month to win a beautiful ring of their very own. INTERNATIONAL BLOGGERS WELCOME!

Thank you for your input, and good luck to everyone!!

  1. I'd love to see some talk about materials and methods! But then again, I AM a jeweler... {:-D

  2. I like the comment above, even though I'm NOT a jeweler! And of course, I'd like to see more Arwen posts - loved the photo session pictures.

One suggestion for your shop - have you considered self-insuring to mail the less expensive pieces? Not sure how Canada Post works, but it is such a hassle to get insurance reimbursement from the US postal service that I have stopped insuring under $50.

  3. P.S. re self-insurance - it means you reimburse the customer yourself if the package is lost. (If the person pays via PayPal, the seller is always liable if the package is lost, so asking people to opt in or out of insurance doesn't work.) Of course, I don't sell, but I have read on the Etsy forums that some people do it by putting the money they save on postage aside in a special fund (you obviously have to start off with a few dollars in the fund!)

  4. I don't think anyone can turn down more dog posts; Arwen is just adorable! ;)

Let's see... other feedback... well, it doesn't look like your Artfire shop has many items in it yet- that would be a good thing to add. :)

  6. I would love to see more "behind the scenes" of your creative process. Not giving away your secrets or anything but like some of the techniques you use and what all goes into creating your beautiful jewelry.

And of course more Arwen posts would always be wonderful!

  7. As for you shop...I think a good idea would be to add a 3fer. Like buy 3 rings and get a discount.
And as for your blog...I love reading about people's lives as well as their work. You do pretty good at this...so keep it up :)

  8. IMHO every post, no matter the subject, has to include one photo of Arwen!

  9. I'd buy all of them, if I had the money to do so. It must be a pleasure to have such rings.

  12. Hi Meghann!
this is such a great contest, and you are so generous. Thank you for including us int'l bloggers :)

I always enjoy posts about Arwen on your blog. I'd love to see your work space and how you organize your supplies :)

I'm interested in medium-length necklaces. Mostly I come across long ones that reach the navel :) or choker-type ones. How about medium? I'm fairly sure I'm not the only petite person out there!!!

  13. I am lucky enough to own a couple of Meghanns gorgeous rings and I can attest to their beauty and workmanship.

I would also like to see a 'work in progress' article or two as well - always interesting to read the inspiration and method behind the finished article.

I know next to nothing about jewellery but I know what I like when I see it and I'm pretty stunned by Meghann's skills - that's a very impressive talent you have!

I love your rings Megahnn, as you know, but being a wearer already I shall opt out of your very generous give away so that someone may have a chance to know how beautiful they are too.
    Thanks!
